The artist's description: This scarf design is inspired by the world of baroque music performances, and the magic of the stage. I was thinking about the ability of music and opera to create a world that captivates us and transports us for the duration of the performance. Some well loved historical harpsichords are illustrated on it. In 2016 We were commissioned to decorate a reproduction of one of the harpsichords, known as the Couchet harpsichord, after it's maker, from the collection in the Metropolitan Museum.
