Alison is available for private lessons over Zoom or in-person in the FlorenceArt.Net studio. Theses lessons are ideal for beginners or professional artists who want to benefit from more intensive one-to-one time with an experienced tutor. The maximum amount of learning can be attained through these personalised lessons. Alison has worked with people of all levels and experience and is often commended for her personable, warm teaching style. Please see the table below for information about packages and prices. Introduction to decorative painting
Colour pattern and line work
Intro to form (light and shadow) for decorative painting
Advanced decorative painting
Gilding (all levels)

All Zoom packages come with a free introductory call (approx. 30 minutes). Each session is 2 hours long.

In person lessons can take place from 9am - 1pm or 2pm - 6pm. Each session is 4 hours long.

Alison Woolley is the founder and owner of FlorenceArt.Net and has been teaching and working as a professional artist for over 20 years. She graduated with honors after winning two scholarships from the Ontario College of Art and Design in Canada. She then moved to Florence and worked 15 years under the guidance of Florentine master artisans before opening her own bottega in the heart of the artisan district. She specialises in hand painted decoration using traditional media and water gilding. Her students come from all over the world to learn traditional European techniques at the FlorenceArt.Net studio and return year after year. Learn more about Alison.
