Trompe l'Oeil Decoration

This 9 part video course teaches the basics of the traditional Italian technique for painting architectural Illusion known as 'Quadraturismo' or more commonly 'Trompe l'Oeil". This technique is used to create 'faux' framing around windows and doors and to add architectural features such as cornices and mouldings to plain walls. The video course covers how to mix colors to make the correct value scale, surface preparation, paints, brushes and other tools needed. The process is demonstrated in the video lessons.
