This project was to make and decorate a small sideboard or 'credenza' painted with traditional grottesche style decorative motifs. We started with scale drawings and used antique wood in the construction to achieve an authentic aged look. The proportions of the piece date to the Italian renaissance period, and the colours were customized for the clients home.
